Hospitality project in China.
Neri & Hu turned a trio of 1930s industrial buildings on Shanghai's South Bund into the Waterhouse, a 19-room boutique hotel looking across the Huangpu River to Pudong, designed as a vertical take on the city's traditional nongtang lanes. It won at the INSIDE World Festival of Interiors in 2011 and took an Architectural Record China Award in 2012. imondi engineered oak in the light blonde Como colour, with a lacquer finish, is used in all nineteen guest rooms.
